Work from the finished dimensions.
Place artwork on a dimensioned drawing of the assembled bag. Consider seams, folds, openings and hardware that may affect the usable branding area.
Read the logo at its real size.
Check small text and fine details at the actual print dimensions. Consider how the artwork will look when the bag is filled and being carried, not only when it lies flat.
Match the method to the material.
Review printing, embroidery, labels or other finishing options against the chosen surface. The same artwork can produce a different result on a textured fabric and a smooth panel.
Record the sample approval.
Keep the approved artwork, placement measurements and sample notes together. A clear record helps resolve differences before the bulk production specification is finalized.
